On the 24th and 25th of October 2022, we gave a popup store at Manirampur, Barrackpore. We had a purpose to bring people back to books, a mare attempt to make a few more bibliophiles like us.
As George R.R. Martin said, “A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies... The man who never reads lives only one.”. In this digital era if we can find an escape point with help of books. One thing we realized is that people still love to read books. When they see a bookshop, people willingly come forward and enjoy the beauty.
But we also noticed that there are still many people who are book averse. As book lovers, it is our responsibility to introduce the remove veil of ignorance from the life of the common man. Let's gift a book on every occasion. Let's make it a tradition to gift books.
